Construction Certificates
A Construction Certificate is required prior to the commencement of building works. This certificate confirms that the construction plans and development specifications are consistent with the development consent, and comply with the Building Code and any other council requirements.
Complying Development Certificates
Complying development is a combined planning and construction approval for straight forward development that can be determined through a fast-track assessment by a council or an accredited certifier.
Occupation Certificates
For a certificate to be issued, the building or development must: meet the required regulatory standards and be suitable for occupation (in accordance with its Building Code classification).
Swimming Pool Compliance
KLICERT can inspect swimming pool and spa pool barriers and issue a certificate of compliance if the barrier meets requirements. Pool owners should contact KLICERT early to allow time to organise an inspection before renting or selling a property. A certificate of compliance is valid for three years.
Our Working Process
Application
Once KLICERT has received your application and payment we will begin the assessment process.
Construction Certificate or Complying Development Certificate Issued
Once all documents and conditions have been met a CC or CDC will be issued and construction can begin.
Mandatory Inspections
Inspections can be booked online or over the phone. After all mandatory inspections have been completed an Occupation can be issued.
Issuing of Occupation or Swimming Pool Compliance certificate
Occupation & swimming pool compliance certificates will be issued once all works completed and certificates have been supplied to KLICERT.
